International Youth Math Challenge

The International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC) is a global math competition for students to test and showcase their skills.
• Qualification Round (November)-
Solve 5 problems and submit your answers by 30 November 2025. Solve at least 3–4 to qualify. All participants get certificates.
• Pre-Final Round (January)-
Qualified students solve advanced problems, including one based on a research paper. Registration fee: 11 EUR.
• Final Round (February)-
Finalists take a supervised online exam. Winners earn certificates and prizes worth over $1000.
⚫ Eligibility- Students from any country, aged 26 or below, can join the competition.
Age Groups:
• Junior: Grade 10 and below (under 16).
• Youth: Grades 11–13 (16 or older).
• Senior: University level (19 or older).
All participants solve the same problems, but higher groups need more points to advance.
⚫ Why participate?
• All participants receive official certificates recognizing their efforts.
Final Round Awards:
• Honours: Bronze, Silver, or Gold (based on performance)
• Top Prizes: (Cash Prize + prize certificate)
1. Senior: $175 / $125 / $75
2. Youth: $150 / $100 / $50
3. Junior: $125 / $75 / $25
• National Awards: The best participant from each country receives a special certificate.
• Special Honour: For outstanding digital submissions.
• Successful participants join the IYMC network, connecting with talented students from around the world.
